I'm Maria Vicente — friends call me Mavic, and yes, that's where the name comes from. My love affair with thrifting started in the ukay stalls of Baguio as a student, where a few pesos could turn into a wardrobe full of personality.
Over the years I noticed two things: incredible pieces were going to waste, and shopping secondhand online felt like a gamble. So I started Mavic Ukay to do it properly — to treat every pre-loved item with the same care a boutique gives a brand-new one, and to make sustainable style something anyone in the Philippines can enjoy.
